Before Your Appointment
Exfoliate entire body 24 hours before your appt! Use a washcloth or loofah. Removing dead skin will result in even results. Do not apply lotions or moisturizers the day of your spray.
At Your
Appointment
Wear loose, darker clothing to your appointment. Airy dresses, loose pants and t-shirts are great. Loose footwear will help keep your tan processing evenly and without marks when you leave.
After Your
Appointment
When it’s time to shower, use a bar of soap (any brand), NO liquid washes. Using your hands, apply a pressuring circular motion to remove all bronzer and especially joints, feet, ankles, fingers/hands.

Best advice before your appt?
The absolute best tip to achieve your best results is exfoliation. You can do this with a wet washcloth, loofah, or exfoliating brush 24 hours before your appt. Removing dead skin will allow your tan to soak in properly and evenly. You will also want to make sure you have no body lotions, heavy makeup, or deodorant on for your appt. Wearing dark loose fitting clothing with easy shoes (flip flops, sandals, etc) will help keep your tan processing evenly and without marks when you leave.
I’ve never had a spray tan, how does this work?
Once sprayed, you will have an instant-bronzed look. After the recommended processing hours, you can shower with soap and water (no body washes). Your tan fully develops within 10-12 hours after showering.
How long does a spray tan last?
Typically, anywhere from 7-12 days. It will depend on your level of activity, how well you take care of the tan and the condition of your skin. For best results it is recommended that you use aftercare products to keep GLOWING!
How many days prior to an event should I get sprayed?
We recommend 2 days before your special event if possible; 24 hours works but at least 5-8 hours day of.

I am super pale! Will this work for me?

What is DHA?
DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) is the active ingredient in most sunless tanning products. It is a sugar molecule which is naturally-derived from the beets or the sugar cane. This ingredient reacts to the amino acids on the surface of the skin to simulate a tan. The intensity of the final tan will depend on the strength of DHA contained within the product.
Will your products transfer on clothing or sheets?
Although our formulas have been created to dry quickly and to be transfer resistant, we recommend wearing loose fitting, dark clothing after the application. If you are to sleep with your tan, we recommend wearing full length clothing. The solution is water-soluble and can easily be removed from most all fabrics.
Which self tanning product is right for me?

When can I shave?
Waxing and shaving should be no less than 24 hours before your appointment.
What if I have makeup on at my appt?
We recommend you do not wear any make up to your appointment however lighter applications will still allow our formula’s to do their job!
Will I look orange?
No chance. 🙂
What if I'm unhappy with my spray?
At Just Glow, we always aim for you to leave glowing and confident. If something didn’t go quite as expected, we’re here to help. What do I wear to my appt?
Wear loose, darker colored clothing is best. We suggest loose pants or a loose sundress with flip flops. Leggings, jeans, tight pants and shirts are NOT recommended.
Manicures, pedicures and waxing?
Pedicures, manicures, waxing or eyelash extension appointments should be done 24 hours before your spray tan. If you are doing pedicures or manicures the same day as your appointment make sure NO lotions are applied. If you must get them done after your spray tan, choose a polish change only.
Air or car travel after my spray?
Sure! However, you will want to follow a few tips to ensure your finished tan is perfect after travel. Be sure to wear loose, dark clothing that covers ALL your skin so you will not rub your spray tan on any seats/arm rests. Keep yourself cool so you don’t sweat and move the bronzer (or leave water marks) while processing. Avoid sneakers or heavy covered shoes that may rub your bronzer off or leave sweat marks on your feet/ankle areas. As always while processing, be careful eating and drinking and avoid touching your face…and definitely no hand sanitizer or washing until your first shower.
Will I look fake with a spray tan?

What ingredients are in your products?
Our products contain ingredients like purified water, naturally derived DHA (Dihydroxyacetone), preservatives and food grade accelerators. All NUDA solutions are paraben-free, sulfate-free, gluten-free and nut oil-free. Our products are enriched with skin-loving ingredients such as a blend of vitamins A, B, C, D E, Aloe Vera, Elderflower, white and green tea extract, coconut, meadowfoam and jojoba oil to smoothen and nourish the skin while offering a beautiful and bronzed complexion.
Are your products vegan and cruelty free?
All NUDA products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. They are only tested on babes!
Will I smell like spray tan after my spray?
Nope! Our solutions are formulated for a quick-drying process, no stickiness or unwanted smell! You will love it!
Are your products safe for pregnant women?
DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) acts only on the top layer of the skin. NUDA’s formulas are non-toxic and there is no evidence that demonstrates the harmfulness of DHA. However, each pregnancy is different, and we recommend consulting your doctor if you have any questions prior use.
Will my tan get patchy if I exercise?
Your tan should stay even and streak-free. However heavy sweating on a regular basis can result in faster fading.
Will a spray tan cover up my tan lines?
We’ll try to even them out for you but there is no guarantee for a total cover up. Most often, we are able to blend a much less tan line to help them look less noticeable.
Will a spray tan protect me in the sun?
No, our tanning products do not contain any UV-protective agents. Our products do not protect skin from being sunburned and your skin can still tan. You should always apply sunscreen prior to sun exposure.
